Every great movement starts with a question. For the EV Cultural Impact Awards, the question was simple: Why are we only celebrating the technical side of electric vehicles, when their cultural impact is just as profound?

The Spark of an Idea

As the founder of these awards, I’ve spent years exploring the intersection of innovation, storytelling, and cultural change. Through publishing platforms like Business Game Changer Magazine, Inside Robotics Magazine, and This is Semiconductor, I’ve had a front-row seat to the rapid evolution of industries that are redefining our future.

What I noticed was that while EVs were celebrated for their technology, little attention was given to the human side — the music inspired by them, the films they starred in, the entrepreneurs who dared to build businesses around them, or the journalists changing how society perceives them.

That gap became the seed for the EV Cultural Impact Awards.

Building Something Different

Unlike most awards programs that focus on specs, design, or market share, these awards were built to celebrate cultural leadership. The goal was not to compete with industry recognition events, but to create a complementary platform — one that highlights the voices, stories, and creativity driving the EV movement forward.

I wanted the awards to feel like a stage where innovators and artists could stand side by side, proving that technology and culture are inseparable.

The Role of the Magazines

The credibility and reach of my magazines have been critical in shaping these awards:

  • Business Game Changer Magazine — underscored the entrepreneurial spirit of the awards.
  • This is Semiconductor — highlighted the technology underpinnings of EV progress.
  • Inside Robotics Magazine — brought attention to the futuristic and cultural narratives linking automation, AI, and mobility.

Together, these publications created the editorial backbone for the awards, ensuring they weren’t just an idea but a serious platform for recognition.

Looking Ahead

Launching the 2026 EV Cultural Impact Awards is just the beginning. My vision is for these awards to grow into an annual event that inspires conversation, collaboration, and creativity — a cultural movement that keeps pace with the technological one.

Because in the end, EVs won’t just change how we drive. They will change how we think, create, and connect with one another.
